the unexpected snow day
Who knew that school would be delayed (and thus kindergarten cancelled) with just an inch of snow?! But I’m not complaining! It’s letting me get all kinds of things done that I’ve been meaning to do. Like cook a great meal for my family! Tonight Indian food is on the menu!
Actually, today will be my first morning at home since Alice returned to school. I’ve been doing my guest teaching since she returned, so I haven’t yet experienced what it feels like to have a morning to myself. I’m thinking about all of the wonderful ways I’m going to fill those three hours every morning — and hoping that one of those wonderful ways is a source of income! We’ll see — I’ve got lots of ideas cooking.
